What should you not miss at this year's Nebal?
Meeting with beautiful people.

Elasi
Italian pop music was essentially the only tolerated contact with Western music for the former Eastern Bloc (even the normalization regime had to allow something, Italian pop was relatively uncritical in its themes, and moreover, there was a strong Communist Party in Italy). Many Italian stars of the time were better known in the East than in their home country. This contact with the "dreamed-of West" persists in our culture, and the love for Italo disco/pop remains. However, Elasi transforms these musical roots into a unique musical fusion, colorful electronica with echoes of club and classical music (she herself has a classical music education). This is best captured in her fresh and confident debut album Elasir (2025). Together with her refined aesthetics and performance (dancing), her show conveys a sense of dance euphoria.
Husa na Provázku
BOSK offers contact with the past and Czech-Slovak mutuality. An ironic look back at normalization pop music, which is critically confronted with the present. The theater plays a musical show that demonstrates the social blossoming brought about by the common roots of the two now independent states.
Brno Philharmonic Orchestra
Music connects. It revives. It relaxes and excites. It lifts you up. And even further. It is full of laughter and tears, harmony and contrasts. The Brno Philharmonic Orchestra will prove this to you with two contrasting compositions, two pieces commissioned by Nebal. Another world premiere, another experience that you can only enjoy here for the first time.
and much more...
